This is a 55&times;16 ring.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An adapter ring always has a <strong>61&nbsp;mm outer diameter<\/strong> &mdash; it matches the base-plate hole. What changes from ring to ring is the inner bore and the width:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Inner diameter<\/strong> = your LNB&#8217;s neck diameter. Pick the ring whose inner &Oslash; matches your measured neck.<\/li><li><strong>Width<\/strong> = the clamping length along the neck. Wider rings (16&nbsp;mm) grip more; the diameter class is the same.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You do not need a perfect match.<\/strong> The clamp accommodates about 0.5&nbsp;mm either way, so a ring whose inner diameter is within roughly half a millimetre of your measured neck &mdash; larger or smaller &mdash; holds fine. Measure the bare neck, not over the collar &mdash; measuring over it reads a couple of millimetres too large and sends you to the wrong ring.<\/li><li><strong>Measure with a caliper where the feed clamps<\/strong> &mdash; the front of the neck, not the wider body behind it.<\/li><li><strong>Check for a step or taper.<\/strong> If the front and a point further back read different diameters, the neck is stepped, and you need a conical ring (note both numbers).<\/li><li>Match your reading to the table below.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Self-check:<\/strong> if a ring goes on but will not clamp even fully tightened \/ feels too thin, its inner diameter is too big &mdash; go one size smaller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LNB compatibility table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Production runs vary, so when in doubt, measure. The older 55&times;10 ring no longer clamps reliably on the bare neck &mdash; it only holds if DX-Patrol&#8217;s removable grey collar happens to be fitted, and it is marginal even then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a DX-Patrol LNB: take off the grey collar, measure the front step (expect about 53&nbsp;mm), and use the <strong>53&times;10<\/strong> ring.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LNB not listed?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Send us the LNB model, a photo, and the measured neck diameter, and we will tell you the right ring &mdash; or print a custom one.
