Description
Axial-mode helix tuned for the 2.4 GHz ISM band, available right-hand (RHCP) or left-hand (LHCP) circular. Built on the L-band 10-turn form factor (same reflector/ground plane, long radome, baseplate and mounting interface) with a smaller-diameter S-band helix wound from 3.5 mm wire for mechanical stability. 15 turns give a narrow, well-defined main lobe for directive S-band transmit/receive. Pairs with the NE-LBN-103 cover tube and NE-LBN-104 tripod adapter.
Measured performance
Each unit is tuned and swept individually before it ships. The measurement below is a production 15-turn unit: SWR 1.003 at 2400 MHz (50.1 Ω, essentially zero reactance), with the match staying inside SWR 1.8 across the whole 2.15–2.65 GHz span measured. The broadband match is characteristic of a correctly tuned axial-mode helix. Measured on an OSL-calibrated VNA, 501 points.
