Feed and LNA assembly instructions

Supplied parts

  • LNA Radome
  • S-Band LHCP feed
  • N-type male/male adapter
  • 6x M3 screws (M3x16)
  • Primary dish adapter

Not included: LNA and LNA screws. LNA-mock is only for mechanical validation

Assembly

Torque down N-Type adapter on feed
Remove feed radome and losen clamp screw (phillips head)
Push feed onto adapter
Center N-Type adapter with through hole.
Tighten clamp screw (moderate torque)
Screw on feed radome
Position LNA on N-Type adapter
Tighten N-Type adapter
Position LNA radome
Align LNA radome such that triangle markers match
Screw in 6x M3 screws (do not overtorque as they screw into plastic radome)
Align LNA mounting holes
Screw in first M4 screw (not supplied)
Second M4
Attach N-Type cable. Use self sealing tape to seal cable. Apply silicone to seal M4 screw holes
