Michał Słomkowski, SP3OHM, is building a QO-100 station in Poland. He printed the IceConeFeed DIY package, wound the helix himself and sent three photos. His report: “I assembled the helix according to your design, works perfectly!”

The DIY IceConeFeed is the open-source version of our QO-100 dual feed: a 3.5-turn helix for the 2.4 GHz uplink in front of a reflector disc, the unmodified LNB receiving the 10 GHz downlink through the centre. STL files, reflector drawing and tuning procedure are in the package; the procedure is in the build instructions. The assembled and tuned version is the IceConeFeed v2.1.
Thanks to Michał for the photos. Running one of our feeds? Show us your setup.
